Some people say this song is about a guy finding God. That he’s been blind all his life, and now he is woken up. He’s been trying to do everything on his own and didn’t know he was lost. He refers to life as a game and once you find Christ, love is the prize. Now that he has Christ, he isn’t afraid to close his eyes which basically means pass away. He knows he will be in heaven. This song really speaks to me, and most people don’t even pay attention to the lyrics and think it’s a fun pop song. Avicii turned a message for Christ into a song that makes you want to dance! |
