It's one of the more haunting song I've ever heard. My general feeling is that this song is about living with the memories of an ordeal or a breakup and, maybe, the resentment and blaming what comes along with it. |

I can't believe this one has no comment yet. I think this song is about the narrator realizing he has little control on the way his life turns out. My interpretation is probably simplistic (I'm not a native english speaker, I probably missed a lot of things in this song), but I'm pretty that dashed hopes are one of the themes. Anyway, it's a great, epic song. |
