that's what I thought at first as well but then she says "it just comes way too natural to you" like how all those items do those things naturally. his nature is telling lies. maybe she used those so that way when whoever she wrote it for hears it, they would hear "lie" the whole dang song so they'd be haunted by how much he lied and how hurt it obviously made her.. I don't know, just sayin' that's my opinion (: |

this song is actually about her divorce with russell brand. it was in her movie and was also talked about in some interviews. I CAN RELATE- minus the divorce. really hurts when you are so in love with someone and you keep giving them the benefit of the doubt and keep trying to make it work and they flip everything around because they can't own up to anything and break your heart even more |
