I tend to side with those who believe it is simply about heartbreak with an actual girl, one that his friends did not warn him about, in that she was either a narcissist, or someone who could not emotionally connect. Also, must consider a possibility that "she's not there" means she's not a she (she is not a she "there", but a man). So big embarrassment when no one told him that she was really a man, and he had to find out the hard way! Surprised more people do not suggest this meaning. I do not agree with the murder suggestions. |
