I think this song represents the experience of the whole album. It makes you feel like you're high "above the clouds". It's about changing into someone better, growing up, becoming more mature and finding happiness. Yes, the song is about falling in love for the first time after thinking that you never would or falling in love for real for the first time. The person who tells the story describes the experience as something new, something that has caught her by surprise. And she's very happy with the result. Forget Love Is To Die, to me, Biggy is truly the climax of "Warpaint" and the best song on the album. |

I actually think I got it! I think this and Burgundy are about Emily and Theresa's friendship. (Or friendship in general) "I want you more than anyone ever wanted anyone before": they love each other as friends more than their lovers and boyfriends "And if I ever turned away only was I trying to find all the words to say all my life where I can't take you on my own": despite of everything they go through, they would still be there for each other, even if the other has a romantic relationship "I need a little room to sway/ you hold me anyway"- basically the same as the previous one, about friends' trust in each other "I always told you I would be there"- that's obvious "I though that you were another me so pull me closer and don't ever let me go"- they are very close to each other and one of them begs the other to respond to their promises to always be there for them Basically about the refugee you seek in your best friend after a bad experience (probably from a relationship) Idk, what do you think? |
