| Donald Fagen – Morph the Cat Lyrics | 9 years ago |

Fagan has identified himself as a jazz man from way back, and I might be grabbing for the lowest hanging fruit, but the song seems to be telling all the ways marijuana can effect a person. "This Rabelasian puff of smoke To make you feel all warm and cozy Like you heard a good joke Like you heard an Arlen tune Or bought yourself a crazy hat Like you had a Mango Cooler" It seems pretty cut and dried to me, but I may be seeing things a little to literally. |

I love the way our minds work. To see a correlation like that is such an amazing example of the weird quantum entangling our minds must possess. As to whether it's in fact true or not, does it matter? The author's intent is rarely relevant in literary criticism, why should it be so in trying to noodle out the meaning of a song? I for one love this crossroad your friend found. I'm going to hang onto it! |

| Counting Crows – Four Days Lyrics | 11 years ago |
| I'm thinking it's about Neil Armstrong's first mission on Gemini 8. It was four days long, and his homestate is Ohio. Maybe it's me trying to make fit, but their next album was Recovering the Satellites, so he does show an interest in space. | |
