This is my all time favorite song EVER. I don't care what Jack originally wanted this song to mean. But I interpret it as a song for if you love a girl, so much that you never want to lose her, just make sure you keep her in your life(or the "safe and lock it"). Even if she's leaving you, find something to say. And if you can just yell, "Don't go away!" And let her now, no matter what you'll be there for her "if she ever feels blue, and you'll be there when she find someone new. What to do? Well you know, keep her in you pocket." There's a girl in my life who I know I'm lucky to even be friends with her, but I can't tell her how I really feel. And if I ever do I'm scared I'll do something and I'll lose her forever. So I'll just keep her I'm my pocket. |

| Well I'm not really sure if Jack tried to do this. But, in the first song on the first album the White Stripes ever did Jimmy The Exploder. It says "monkey jumpin on the bed now!" And in this song it says, "Two monkeys jumpin on the bed." I dont know if there is a connection, but it's my observation. | |
