If you watch the video, the two domes the man is meditating and getting his groove on seem to be a hint at the VDome (look it up). I always thought that was rather strange. "One thing that I can't stand Is when the minutes fight the second hand I'll waste a lifetime's worth Just to cling to one more day" I'm dyscalculic, and I have trouble reading clocks because of that fact. It's almost like the composer may or may not be dyscalculic himself. I don't know. I somewhat agree with xChernobyl; it's a reference to a cold person; absolute zero being as cold as you can get. It's all of the metaphysical references in the song that have always thrown me off. Our subject is obviously a spiritual person. You can also find occult a few occult references. "He stands on the virgin rock of Pyrrhonic-Zoroastrianism, which unlike the Hindu world-conception, stands on neither Elephant nor Tortoise, but on the Absolute Zero of the metaphysical Qabalists." - John Fuller, talking about Aleister Crowley |
