I feel you are the closest to the meaning. Some of the comments are so selfishly wrong but, I guess music is for the masses. This song is all about being honest. |

Any one can use these lyrics for their life situation. I believe this song is about becoming honest with your self in the world for the first time. "It's over today" meaning the lie stops here on this day. The chorus suggests that you must give in to the lie with no shame and walk the path of truth. I love Michael Patton lyrics!! Most of faith no more lyrics are about losing. Usually hope or faith. Brilliant!!!! |
