Its not about rape per se (after all everything he says is in the present or future tense. not the past. nothing about "I did this". just "I want to do this"). Its about whats going on in guys heads when they interact with or even see an attractive girl. behind all those harmless comments about coming here often and can I buy you a drink is a raging horn dog ready to strike and absolutely sure that you want him bad and that he can give it to you. STP even creates the perfect musical score to accompany this inner monologue with a thumping sinister sexual undertone to the exposed mutterings of our Freudian id. Its simply an honest portrait of our primal male drives given voice. |
