AY I love me some Ringo, but he didn't write all of those songs. During the Beatles, he only wrote "Octopus's Garden," and "Don't Pass Me By." He co-wrote "What Goes On," with Paul and John. "Good Night" was written by John. "With A Little Help From My Friends," was written by Paul and John. "Yellow Submarine" was written by Paul. "I Wanna Be You Man," was written by Paul and John. The rest were cover songs. :) |

| This song = life. I love Mr. Lennon with all my heart but I strongly disagree with his opinions on this song. | |

My question is how exactly was this not vetoed by Paul or Ringo, or George Martin. If you listen to Anthology 3, you can hear songs like "Trash," by Paul and "Not Guilty," by George. They're both great songs. How come they were not allowed on the album, but, this? Every time I'm listening to the White Album and this comes on I'm just all "NOPE" and skip to Good Night. But I never listened to the entire thing until recently. It's definitely not music, at least by my terms. But it is an experience. I wouldn't listen to it on repeat, but I think every Beatlemaniac should listen to this at least once. |

| Every time this song comes up in my music library, I just stop what I'm doing and listen. It gives me chills every time. You can really hear the pain in John's voice. | |
| The Beatles – Hey Bulldog Lyrics | 11 years ago |
| This song is about insanity and paranoia. “Big man, walking in the park. Wigwam, frightened of the dark. Some kind of solitude is measured out in you. You think you know me but you haven’t got a clue.” He’s losing it. He just wants someone to talk to. “You can talk to me, if you’re lonely you can talk to me.” These words are directed at the bulldog. “Hey bulldog!” | |
