this song to me is most definitely about unrequited love.
The singer is singing to someone who he really loves, but she does not feel the same way. It could almost be thought that she doesn't even know he exists. |

So I'm just saying, but it's missing the additional lyrics they add to their live performances of this song: "Cause in the end there's only us. And oh my friend there's only love. And in the cave they're timing us. Cause in the end there's only love."
I feel like these should have been on here as I feel they are a huge addition to the song. |
