I have to agree with the theme that the song is about themselves, although I personally think that Metallica cannot die. Metallica is a legend that will forever live on. It makes me happy to see a six year old kid walking down the street with a Metallica shirt on. I being sixteen have grown up with Metallica because of my elder brother and his generation. Metallica may never fall, that is it period.
