This is bowie speaking to his cultural impact as a space alien / drag queen. He didn't create this monsoon by screaming, he did it by pretending he was just walking home as he put on a major androgynous bender on the world. THe fountain was already to explode. His tact did keep his passport clean. He wanted to be accepted in the world. He is the candidate for the grateful dead. Politicians look at masses as inert. He sees them as malleable and ready to explode also. |
