Oh, Boy Les Mecs – Unrest Lyrics 11 years ago
I would say that to understand this song you would need to have an understanding of secular trans-humanism... In other words the "One World Religion", the ugly truth is there are men who would have humanity wiped out, even themselves, and replaced with what can only be described as "The BORG". To put it plainly the powers that be plan to kill all of us off and replace us with androids, then turn themselves into "Gods" or simply cyborgs... They have the technology and are already masquerading it all over TV in which they can do a brainscan and create a digitized replica of thier memories and personalities and "upload themselves" onto microchips and put them in humanoid robots to become "immortal", This is the ugly truth... if you think this sounds too much like a sci-fi novel then you should go watch past episodes of The Joe Rogan Experience. As for this song, I'm pretty sure it is a protest to these facts, we don't have to replace our bodies with machines, we can stop the oxidation. Fukushima was the straw that broke the camels back so to speak, due to the radiation coming from that disaster for the past 3 years and still being pumped into the ocean at some 40million gallons a day as well as what escaped into our atmosphere from the explosions, within the next 60~100 yrs almost all living things will be dead from cancer or dying of accute radiation sickness, just ask top radiologist Helen Caldicott. Sure this alot to say to lyrics in a rather obscure song, but if you try reading/listening again the meaning behind it will be clearer for you to achieve your own conclusions. There could be a hint of "new age" ideologies behind "Unrest this restless heart, with 'stellar circuitry'", but at the same time it can be interpreted in a theological sense, like a request for a divine awakening. I would sum this song up as simply "Pull out all the wires." Technology will rob us of our humanity and inevitably destroy us. This is the end of all flesh...
