It's so much more simpler then that I believe. The iris is a part in the eye that I controls how much light enters or doesn't enter, also it's what gives the eye it's color. She had 2 beautiful blue eyes with a grayish tint. He fell in love with some one he can't have. A best friend. And she knows.... I think he is completely and utterly obsessed with someone that he will never be able to have (secretly). And she knows it, and she is married and has been enabling his obsession for quite awhile. Then somthing changed and she stopped. Its tearing him up inside, literally going insane, and if the rebel (an alternate ego) tells her to cut him loose she will cleanse herself of him. but he just cant let it go even though deep down he needs to. So he doesn't know what to do and is lost. He has built up a giant mental hell, a self fullfilling madness. | I feel like its about som1 who was hoping this girl would willingly love him blindly, let him guide her and love him for all that he is and not his faults.. But she didn't care enough and caused so much pain and was super controlling. She's a compulsive liar and throws pity parties. (She kept his eyes close vs she keeping her own eyes shut) | |
