This song is obviously about a Christian girl who's living a double life. She (probably as many of us) leanrt the concepts of religion when she was a child and now when she has grown up is burning in desire with a guy, her "God-man", and she's wondering what's worse if suffered for her desire or burn in hell for sort it out. That's why the song said "she needs the body of Christ". In the middle, the song is about the sexual act, he is inside of her body. And at the end, it sounds to me as if he's telling her "don't worry baby, Jesus was a man, he has to understand us". Well, this is how a christian woman really feels, and I know it because I'm one of them. |

I do believe that this song is about lovers, and how one of them has realized that it has turned in something stronger than it used to be and even stronger than it should be that's why he said "As everything in life, comes together now I need your mind". He's even noticed they don't feel wrong about what they feel "We don't even understand so how could this be wrong?". Even he's able to face the truth, he just cannot run away from reality, he knows what is his position and what he's doing "I'm so in love with you...how could I? Ever be untrue, am I with you? With everything I do". In the end of the song it looks like if he's talking with his partner and trying to take a decision "We don't know or care something's always there, we see it's in our hands, but we just don't understand". Finally every "Ih, ah" makes me feel that over all he's suffering. |
