| I loved this timeless tune since the first time I stumbled upon it say ten years ago...As I am both a published writer/poet/songwriter and intuitive in nature...I sense that "Mary Jane" has nothing to do with one of his past drugs of choice....which as an aside he likely "used" in an effort to gloss over/suppress some other alter ego i.e perhaps homosexual in nature....and perhaps Mary Jane was able to venture "above the stars" in search of his urges for fulfillment???? Just an intuitive sharing...while homophobes will likely have a field day with my sharings. In any case....I am going back to listen to his precious tune at least one more time today...peace and love to you all. :-) | |
