The song is about the singer. Amy has tried many times to find the one but she has given her love to wrong people. Now she sits and talks to 'love'.She is complaining that 'it's been too long since the start' (the first person in her life she fell for, and 'it's been too long since you left me' (the last time she fell in love with someone). Oh love love you always bring me down Oh love love you turn my life around Oh I don't know how to tell you Oh I don't know what to say But my heart is yours love in every single way... I think she refers to her old lovers, some of them brought her down, others changed her life but in the end she knows that she will fall in love again. The singer may also refer to one person, but I kinda like the first interpretation. |
