This reminds me a LOT of my relationship with my grandparents. They've always been overprotective of me, which is probably a huge part of why I'm so paranoid. Also, they always made everything all about them, and whenever I tried to tell them what they were doing to hurt me they'd just start crying and be all like "why are you so mean to me". I'm so glad that I'm not living with those emotionally manipulative jerks anymore.... |
