This song to me is about a cuck dude who has a woman who treats him like a dog, waiting for her to come home, while she's galavanting doing whatever with whoever. She tells me it's easy etc... As long as he's obediant, she won't make waves in the relationship. She, is wrecking his life as he hangs on the line, also the double entendre is there and even a movie star type obsession of someone fantasizing about someone they could never attain, but mostly about infidelity, lopsided, and one sided relationships. ahh.. a great cut from the mostly dark an forboding 90's counterparts. the gloom of tracks like srick it out we must endure societies woes, nobodys hero about an aids victim forgatten, and alien shore, speaking to the distance and discord amongst the same. Enter the last track, an upbeat melodic tune with a positive, just got to laugh and see it through message. It srems so definite in its intention I see the band singing about typical Canadians and what they go through, ehat we all go through and how we all learn that it is life itself the adventute, the ups and downs our daily bread, and ourselves in our commonality the everyday glory. At the core, us. With all our imperfections, problems and such, we can have faith the sun will rise tommorow for another chance to shine.
