To me this song is about a guy who was involved with a girl for a short period of time and she backed out because she wasn't ready for a relationship or something serious. But before she backed out, she had been saying things that lead the guy to believe she wanted something serious. "remember the things you said, because you can't regret the things you that forget" He wants her to recall the things she said. "I hope you regret this" He wants her to look back on their romantic involvement and regret passing up on him. It is a sad, simple, amazing song. |
