I just liked the reference to their last album What Separates Me From You "All hail the thief forever trying to separate you and me." I thought WSMFY was an alright record, but I felt it was too soon to be released after Homesick, or too quick seeing how there's only 10 songs on that album. |

Surprised no one has yet to analyze Josh Scogin's line "Well, it’s a one man cult and he’s serving his line" The main character is his own army and he's only out to protect himself. "It’s a “Lust For Life” but it’s a lifeless wine" He's wanting to experience the pleasures of life, but because of what ever he's consuming, it's making him lifeless. "He kissed her hand and then he found out her name, It’s Death and now he can’t seem to wake" He literally kissed death without knowing. doesn't look like he'll be waking up anytime soon. |
