I can easily see that this song is about a difficult break up, or at least a rough patch in a relationship. Despite that, as soon as I heard this song, I couldn't help but mentally associate it with the long distance relationship I am in. The chorus, especially with the final line, made me notice and feel connected to this song. I guess beyond being about a break up, I interpret this song to just be about the difficulty of being apart from the person you love. My eyes are screaming for the sight of you And tonight I'm dreaming of all the things that we've been through And I can't hold on to you So I guess I feel lonely, too But I'd rather be here with you |
