sounds to me like it was a journey that started out okay then hit a wall, things fell apart in a horrible way. he was on a path of self distract, even got the scars to prove with a story for them, going through the motions but they didn't quite fulfill. he lost himself or his sense of direction like the lyrics say. So it's all about finding something to believe in, the affection seems to be the thing that fixes this presumed emptiness. Now he is in a new space and what he has found is something truly unlike any thing else out there. he has finally found his passion and his worth in the love he has found. almost like saying yes before i wasn't quite ready but I'm all grown now and ready to enjoy what i have always had |
