| I always interpreted this song not with George Orwell's Animal Farm but with the relationship that Winston and Julia have in 1984. Their relationship is complicated as they can't be seen with each other so they "occasionally glance up through the rain", since they look out for police they "watch for pigs on the wing". As well as the rest of the song can be interpreted to their relationship. | |
