| I don't think this song was specifically written about The Hunger Games. I think it relates to the storyline a lot but the true meaning behind this song is that regardless of all of the bad in the world "some saw the smoke, some heard the gun"...etc. God will take care of us all. I think Chris Martin is singing on behalf of everyone in the world. He's singing about everything bad and how we cannot handle it. "We're about to explode" and then the chorus is actually God singing to him saying he will "carry your world". | |
