I think this is a song about a girl who is helplessly in love with a boy, so she's singing about him. Sometimes he shows her his love and sometimes he doesn't give a shit about her feelings. In his opinion everything he does is good and even if he knows that he is hurting her feelings by betraying her or something else he isn't really sorry for that. So he doesn't care because he knows that she will forgive him because she loves him to the end although she knows that he's bad for her. In my opinion his behaviour emerges of his drug abuse so his perception of feelings, etc. is damaged. ("He couldn't see me the sun was in his eyes") She tries her best but she can't save him so she plays with the thought of leaving him before they both will sink. She says "And I'm sorry young man, I cannot be your friend" but she is still staying in the end because he has no one but her and even if he can't control and show it he loves her. Altough it's a hopeless love story.

I think what he means is the nostalgia he feels when he look back at these days. Like a story he tells his best friend when he asks the singer about his first love. But today he don't really know if his memories really happened or if his mind just added things whose could have happened. But the feeling he remember the feelings he had with her.

I think he's singing about a girl he once loved. It didn't really worked out because they're too different to hold on to this relationship. But in some way, she's a very lonely person, maybe addicted to drugs and she needs someone to take care of her but nobody's there. So he feels guilty because he just can't stop loving her, even if they aren't together anymore so he feels responsible and wants to protect her. She's kind of afraid when the night comes, while he loves the darkness. It could be like a metaphor for the sun and the moon, they love each other and one thing can't exist without the other, but they could never have a relationship.

I think this song is about a beautiful girl who never had a problem with catching boys eyes. Everytime she gets ready for a party she knows she won't have to dance on her own. But there is this one guy she really likes. Once they were making out but she wasn't very nice and she treated him just like the other boys. Later she realized that this was a mistake but he's not interested anymore. She tries to win him back, uses much make-up and dresses very flirty but he gives a shit. It's like she wants what she can't have and that's a terrible feeling.

Finally she realizes after a long relationship that the guy she loves is not worth fighting for anymore. She always did everything for him but he treated her not the way she should be treated like. I guess he had an affair. When she finds out she gets angry and disappointed and decides to leave him. I think her decision is fixed although she wants him one last time to fight and hold her back. She don't understand why he throws their common time away like it's nothing and put such a high risk. She wants to hear "I love you and I am sorry and I want you to be with me", then leave.

She craves that one man, can't imagin to live to take a single breath without him. She never had those feelings before and can't explain why she loves him so terribly. Sure, she realizes that at least she don't know many facts (!) about him but that means nothing for her because she knows his mind and that counts. Even if she knows that he's bad for her and they will never be together in the way she wants, she keeps holding on, even when he already left her. But she excuses his behaviour with his (suspected) mental problems and connection trouble. She want him so much and suffers but he won't come back.

I think it means "i see their eyelids moving" instead of "I see the red lights moving". My interpretation is that this song tells about two former lover who suffer under the end of their relationship. It wasn't his fault or her fault, both made mistakes. I think he couldn't really show his love because he had been a "bad boy" before and don't want to let go that way of life and she were too selfish to understand that, even if she knows that in truth he loves and needs her.

I think these lyrics tell the story of a guy who really loves (or had loved) that one girl he had been with but for some reasons he had to leave her. The song describes a time maybe a few weeks or months after the breakup. She went through many phases but her suffer is not getting better so maybe she had a mental breakdown. The boy is terribly sorry about that and tries to help her to get over him so he lists some solutions which may relieve her (start talking again, leave the state, delete himself from her life and act like nothing ever happened). But he realizes that whatever he does will only keep her hope alive even if she needs to understand it's over. For her own good he makes the final decision and keep out of her way. He knows that it will take it's time and is going to hurt her a lot but one day she will make it. But she is not the only one who suffers under the separation. While leaving he remember how much she means to him and that she will stay in his heart forever. However, he can't change anything and life has to go on.

In my opinion that beautiful song is about a relationship of the singer who tells the story of the girl he loved most. When they met both knew that they are made for each other and had some great moments. Not those big "love story moments" but something better than that because they shared little and quiet experiences together, full of love and understanding. But I think that both had to fight with their own mental diseases/problems so it was very difficult to handle everyday life and sometimes they just lost theirselves in drugs and alcohol. And as the time went on she couldn't handle the troubles anymore and decided to leave him. While she is getting better he is completly out of control, misses her like hell and tries to get over her but it doesen't work. So after years of suffering she comes back and ask him to be just friends now. Even if it breaks his heart because he will love her forever he consents, just to be with her.
