Bring Me the Horizon – Sleepwalking Lyrics 12 years ago
I think this is the most accurate interpretation. The only part that I interpreted differently than you described was the "Fell into another hole again, it's like I'm sleepwalking" lyric because of how it may relate with the follow up lyrics "wake up... (and so forth). I felt it was more of a take on how you know its wrong when you relapse. But, you either can't fight the craving or act on habit. I think it could be relating to how you're physically acting. While mentally its like you're watching it happen from outside yourself, as if you were in a dream-state. Then the "wake up..." part is kind of like the sobering up (waking up from the dream to reality) and trying to regroup while you're heavy with guilt (the guilt part is carried on from the "I'm at the edge of the world, Where do I go from here..." part from earlier in the song).

Great take on a great song. A lot of artists write on this topic. But, I found this to be a very straight forward take and has a very good choice of metaphors. I'd imagine it would be easy for anyone who has struggled with addiction to relate to these lyrics. Not to mention the musical arrangement and delivery by the whole band really helps get the accurate feel across. Generally I wouldn't consider myself a fan of Bring Me The Horizon. But, they have had a few extremely well crafted songs along the way. This one is probably my favorite. Props to anyone that has kicked addiction. If you're still trying, don't give up.
