i just wanted to resolve it to make peace all those weekends we all just give up we all stand down with our lesson learned with our eyes half shut no confusion it's been obvious hallelujah i've been saved by no one again and again but we all just give up we all stand down with our lesson learned with our eyes half shut |

| Weezer – Mykel And Carli Lyrics | 11 years ago |
|
it might be about a kid with cancer: this particular child wants only to be without illness like most other kids his/her age, 'One she cared for my bones Fed me ice-cream cones One she cared for my happiness Wouldn't leave me alone' the nurses that care for the patient. 'till the school bus came and took my friends away Now I'm left alone at home To sit and think all day' they can't go to school because they're sick and miss having friends/ feeling the same as everyone else. 'They gave me a hat the hat was awful rad ' maybe to cover their balding head; a side effect of cancer, he/she is happy they can hide the side effect of their condition. 'wore it everyday Made my teacher mad She tore it off my head Now my head's well read' 'my heads well read' is saying all the kids now understand that they have cancer due to their baldness. 'My head gets cold at night sometimes But I can't be misled' the fact that this child cannot just be like the other kids breaks his/her heart but they can't be misled or be defined by the illness they have. they can't let themselves become cancer, they have to stay true to themselves, despite their condition. just a theory |

| Gorillaz – Cloud Of Unknowing Lyrics | 11 years ago |
|
i like to think this song is about wanting to be naive. on the cloud of unknowing my world seems open feeling a bit more free not understanding the cruelty of the world, every satellite up here is watching trying to escape the truth about the world, but i was here from the very start trying to find a way to your heart having always been naive, he is trying to get others to understand the joys of not knowing All the days are forgetting They've gone out with the tide Lost at sea somewhere, waiting Like setting suns at the rodeo Trying to find someone you'll never know the pains of knowing lead to running in circles or 'trying to find someone we'll never know' making it seem like we're only chasing our own tails Oh, sink in love on the cloud of unknowing escaping the world on the cloud of unknowing Every set of light up here is watching Waiting to see what the morning brings May bring sunshine on its wings this last verse switches the mindset from reality to hope and a sense of innocence. although the cloud of unknowing is made out to be truly beautiful, it is merely a state of mind and comes with a constant denial of the reality that is the world and its woe. or that's just my interpretation anyway... |

| Bauhaus – All We Ever Wanted Was Everything Lyrics | 11 years ago |
| i believe it's about a senior citizen who's had a wasted life. all they ever want was everything, but they don't really have anything except a recurring, bland schedule. It might take place in the future, where everything else is buildings and barbed wire. | |
| San Cisco – Hunter Lyrics | 11 years ago |
| It's a good song and pretty self explanatory. I like how straight forward it is, and also the way San Cisco makes light of the demented idea of a killer's mind; it makes it much more eerie. | |
