I relate to the lyrics in the sense that I think the song is about confidence and fighting through a lack of it to make the most of your situation. 'You've felt this way for far too long, waiting for a change to come' 'Too shy to say that you need help' 'Life passes you by, don't waste your time on your own' You do get fed up of being the quiet shy guy and constantly make an effort to be the confident person you expect yourself to be, but it's not as easy as it seems and more often than not you end up back at square one. That's what I got from the song anyway. It's been stuck in my head all day. |
