So. This is about a drug addict. "Come to decide that the things that I tried Were in my life just to get high on" -> He tried many drugs just to get "high"... "When I lay it on Come get to play it on All my life to sacrifice" -> He uses a lot of drugs, and invites other. Us. The listeners with "Come get to play it on". "When will I know that I really can't go To the well once more time to decide on"--> He tries to let the drugs go but he can't. "In between the cover of another perfect wonder And it's so white as snow" -> His cover is the cocaine. Which is a "wonder" for him. And it's white as snow. **THIS IS WHERE THE SONG STATES that it's not about actual snow as the kids think.. white AS snow*** So yeah. He is lonely. He needs someone. He is an addict. He tries to let them go. But he can't. He feels safe using them from the world. :) This is my interpretation! |
