Please see my replies to the other two comments...no one else seems to recognize that the "red symbol" flashing throughout the video is the design of a circular "insert" used for a 45 rpm vinyl record's center hole that enables you to play a 45 rpm "single" on a record player meant for 33 1/3 rpm LP's. Yes, I am THAT old lol. |

As for the "seed," I think of "scorched earth." Daddy "burned down" the relationship with the singer's biological Mom...or maybe she pulled a "turkey baster" with his used condom when he wasn't looking... or maybe Daddy pulled out, not realizing that tens of thousands of sperms are released before climax. |

The "official video" shows that the setting is "social deprogamming music therapy" (see 0.32 minute mark). There are shades of that electronic device that Scientologists use to recruit new members, as well as other "cults" that used "Alpha Brain Wave" therapy in the 1970's, and perhaps even that experiment when men in white "doctor' suits asked the subjects to "shock" an innocent person just to show how authority-oriented we are. I see only humor, and nothing sinister in this video. |

As a "former" Catholic (they claim once in, like the Mafia, you are ALWAYS in), this song's meaning is obvious to me! The usual dichotomy of "good Catholics" who love sex but feel guilty about it outside of marital procreation. I get an image of someone naked, in bed with their lover early in the morning, being BLASTED awake by the local church's Matin bells...and the SOUND makes them feel guilty about what they have been doing...so Catholic! Do the "sin," enjoying the moment, and then feel terrible about it later. |
