Is the line emphasizing the point that when one dies in war, they're kind of just swallowed up into the vast numbers of deaths that war cause? Like for example, if there is a bomb attack, a news person would read "... which has resulted in 150 citizens dead, and 2 police", which is very vague, and doesn't address each and every person who has died in detail, because evidently they can't. Where as, if there was for example, a car accident, everything is in a lot more detail and a lot more personal, where they would go into details about the victim; their name, place of birth, maybe even speak to a family member of that victim. -Ruby |
