I agree with THEHYBRIDPARTY, but I also think that there is more to it. That analysis completely left out this section of the song: Show us all again That our hands are unclean That we're unprepared That you have what we need Show us all again 'Cause we cannot be saved Cause the end is near Now there's no other way And oh, you will know Sounds like the classic religious leader that's actually just in it for the money and fame to me. Also, there are at least a couple of mistakes in the transcription of the rap. For one, "Smoke screams" should definitely be "Smoke screens". It's difficult for me to understand that guy, but some of that doesn't make sense at all. |

| Unfortunately, I doubt it. Or did you not hear Minutes to Midnight? | |
| Linkin Park – No More Sorrow Lyrics | 11 years ago |
| I know this song was written during the Bush administration, but it's funny how well it holds up to the Obama administration as well. I'm sure there will be at least a couple more presidents to whom this song will apply. | |

| What about this section, "I'm an inbred and a pothead, Two legs that you spread, Inside the tool shed, Now we know it all for sure"? I don't know where that fits into your interpretation. | |
| Emeli Sandé – My Kind Of Love Lyrics | 11 years ago |
| It's just saying that she's not outwardly romantic, or she's not going to trip over herself to let everyone know that she's in love. But, it's also saying that her kind of love is just as deep, if not deeper, than the norm. It's also saying that her love is the type of love you're going to want/need when your life gets flipped upside down for whatever reason. | |

| I was thinking significant other, but I like your interpretation much more. | |
| Superchick – Crawl(Carry Me Through) Lyrics | 12 years ago |
| It seems to me that this song could be taken one of two ways. It's about having God, or a significant other, to keep you strong in times of weakness. | |
| Emma Louise – Jungle Lyrics | 12 years ago |
| You're absolutely correct, I don't understand why you got voted down. | |
