I think the song is about a male who suffers from something along the lines of extreme depression, and he is dating a female who is normal and sweet, with hobbies and goals. The reason she should be watched after is because she will potentially start to feel the same darkness by being around him so often. I don't think that it is his intention to hurt her - he's simply the prince of his dark world. Depression unfortunately effects everyone around you, and she's in danger of having the life sucked out of her. |
