And the mother who lays dying talking about the sound of words, including her husband's name; as though she perceived herself as being married to ants [yes, and a christian colony of ants, who traded spirit for duty as though duty itself was great love]. I liked the part where the doctor in the piece says something like 'it should've been your father's head that was cut off; it would've cured the whole family'. | |
