I believe this is about someone confused and running away from something/someone amazing, and their blind to notice it. And by saying "It's a shame you don't know what you're running from." and how their "bones have to break and their lights turned off." Literally, this is in my top 5 favorite songs by Ellie and I'm obsessed with the lyrics in the chorus. |
