I've read Motley Crue's book "The Dirt", great book by the way, and it talks about this song in one of the boys' chapters in the book. This song is Nikki's song. He called up his dad one day to talk to him and his dad basically just wrote off Nikki as his son. So Nikki "died" inside as a human being because he was hoping to make a connection with his father. When he was born he was named after his father as Frank Jr., so after the phone call, the next day he decided he wanted to change his name. So he wrote this song to explain it all in a way to "legally kill" Frank Jr.. So therefore this song is about Nikki. It's Nikki's song. |
