| when i listen to this song, i think about my sister.. i really love her and we have a good relationship, but when she is angry, she just starts screaming at me, and some of the things she says don't even make sense, like she became a completly different person.. so i can relate to the part '' when your words mean nothing i go la la la'' her words really hurt me, but i know she doesn't mean everything she says in those moments.. my heart can't stop it, meaning i can't just go over it so easily, but i find a way to block it and not listen to her until she calms down | |

i've always imagined this song was sang by adam, as in adam and eve, he remembers beatiful days in paradise, when he looked into his father eyes, meaning god's eyes, but everything changed when they sinned and god banished them from eden.. but god still loves them and is giving them a second chance and they don't have to worry because heaven's got a plan for them.. and the girl he met was, of course, eve.. '' we were so young'' he remembers how young and foolish they were to sin and ruin what they had '' we ruled the world '' this song is kind of a message to all people, we are actually god's children, confused, ignorant and scared, but god is giving us a message not to worry, because he has a plan for each and every one of us, which is very comforting.. i know it sounds weird but this is what i am always imagining when i listen to this song :) |
