Having recently (three years ago but it feels like yesterday) come out of a "relationship" with a female Narcissistic Pyschopath this is a very personal song for me. I would love to know exactly what Jeff's motivation/inspiration was. I have had plenty of relationships that didn't work out but only one where I would describe my ex as "Evil". If evil is the right word for a woman who was a manipulative compulsive liar with zero empathy, no sense of shame, no pity and a God complex. Did Jeff get involved with one of these outwardly charming, initially fascinating and ultimately devastating maniacs? If so at least he got a hit record out of the experience - all I got was bankruptcy, loss of everything I owned and stress induced colon cancer. |
