So you back out of it and try to be who you used to be because your afraid what you've done has changed you. And you don't wanna think about "grown up things" you want to be a kid again because relationships Can be a scary thing. |

This song has always been my favorite because I could relate the most to it. My mom was dating a guy for about 7 years and among those years I got to know his daughter really well and she became my best friend/sister. Things between my mom and this guy started to fall apart and they separated. And for a long time it was hard to face situations without my best friend. Many times I got anxiety and it was hard to breathe. |

This is my favorite 3 doors down song. To me this song makes me think about trouble you can have in school whether it be drugs or even trouble fitting in. When your just been at the bottom for so long and even when you get the courage to try, it seems like the people around you push you down. Its when you know you have a different kind of life then anyone else, that your just a different person and you want to be as happy as them and have hope that one day you will. I think that this song is about being more than what a person or persons might think as you as. Saying "I am not your rolling wheels, i am the highway" meaning you may seem me as just another person or a nobody but i am alot more than that. |
