Nothing biblical about this. It is about a break up and the pain of dealing without the person "like drinking poison, like eating glass" "we've got crosses on our eyes" also echoes pain as crosses on eyes in cartoons represent death, kele could be explaining how he feels dead without them. "It's so cold in this house, it's so cold in this bed" represents the loneliness after the break up. "I can't eat I can't sleep" it's dominating his mind and he can't do or think anything else. "And you haven't got the time to remember how it was" they don't care as much as he does...you get the picture |
