I think all of the interpretations are right. In a sense the song is about drugs or worrying about things that don't really matter. It is just depends on the person and how the person thinks that are interpreting. Reading all the interpretations they all make sense and are all interpretations that I really do agree with.Sometimes when I listen to a song that I don't understand but LOVE I just wish I could ask the songwriter what the meaning of the song is. |

2-D is talking about hims journey to the plastic beach. Since he was kidnapped by Murdoc I'm pretty sure on the way to the plastic beach he didn't know where he was going to go and he was just blowing on a highway alone. So the meaning of this song is that he has know idea where he is and he doesn't know where he is going, but he is just gonna flow with it, and he is very alone and depressed because he was kidnapped by his band member, it's pretty much the meaning of the whole album. You proprably don't understand my interpretation if you don't know much about the band Gorillaz and there characters. |
