The Cure – The Same Deep Water as You Lyrics 12 years ago
A lot of the Cure's sad love songs remind me of the Killers, or rather the other way. The Cure have fab stories as the Killers do!

The Cure – How Beautiful You Are... Lyrics 12 years ago
This is my favourite of The Cure! Robert Smith's voice is always so full of emotions. Even when he sings of happy stuff he sounds like he's sad, and that's what makes him sounds so adorable and unique. He has a powerful and unique voice and has always sounded perfect live. There aren't many singers I've heard sound like the recording album live!

This music reminds me of one of the songs of Alphaville in the album Afternoons in Utopia, which was my favourite album of Alphaville!

Elvis Presley – Why Me Lord? Lyrics 12 years ago
This is such an amazing song, too underrated me think!
I adore Elvis as a singer and person! I find it a shame how so many fancied him... It's a shame that girls go insane over famous people and not rather see the person that is inside them and what they bring with their souls. I wonder if this is a part of what destroyed Elvis and many?

Sleater-Kinney – Good Things Lyrics 12 years ago
I don't mean to sound like I'm an army soldier. I'm familiar with pain, I was born to embrace it, but it's not good for my skin, so I say No thank you when it comes and meet me. We have the power to be above it!
I could have 10 thousands reasons to be sad, but I refuse to let the 10 thousands overwhelm my thoughts and life. I choose to concentrate on that one thing that is happy, and make that thing become the centre of my thoughts.
Sometimes things get better for people, but sometimes they don't. We musn't wait for things to get better, we must shake them off and walk above!

Sleater-Kinney – Good Things Lyrics 12 years ago
Trying to raise above the pain is not being in denial, it's being a fighter! It's good to recognise we're going through hell and be gentle to ourselves, but it's not good to let self-pity and let pain becomes comfortable.
Say no more to pain! Fight!

Sleater-Kinney – Good Things Lyrics 12 years ago
Definitely that, but I'd say be proud of who you are, and shake the pain out by smiling, laughing, even if you feel like shutting down, let people in your life, even if you feel like hiding in a hole, fight and get out! Don't let the pain be your master, be the master of your pain! Never be comfortable with pain, fight it by doing the opposite to what it brings you!

Everybody deserves to be loved. Some will not know they are loved until they shake what's bothering them.

I haven't read the bukowski's book, but I read the Railway man, and went to watch it. It's an amazing story of forgiveness and healing.

Sleater-Kinney – Good Things Lyrics 12 years ago
Maybe part of it is true, maybe people have not treated you well, but maybe part of it isn't so, it's how you feel about yourself and therefore you think everybody thinks low about you?

Sleater-Kinney – Good Things Lyrics 12 years ago
Even the best people will let you down, because none of us is perfect.
Why not trust that there is a force beyond that you can trust, who will never let you down? Why not open your heart and trust Him?

Sleater-Kinney – Good Things Lyrics 12 years ago
Why don't you believe you're going to see the light?
Why do you depend so much on what people say or think? Even the best doctors, psychologists... get it wrong. Why don't you look beyond for healing?
Why don't you believe in God and that he has the power to deliver you?

Why do you think you shouldn't be treated well? Why do you think others think low about you? Why do you think you have to worry about what others think?
