| Nah, it's about mental disorder. There's an interview with Aimee somewhere on the internet where she explains. I've seen bipolar and psychosis pretty close to me, and it may be just how that must feel. Some people with this condition do change into something else than they were before. | |

To me, it's about just being profoundly misunderstood in general. It's very painful to not feeling able to communicate your personality and feelings the way you'd wish you could, desperately. Especially to the people you love the most. Part of the frustration is the receiving side, not being able to translate the words into the meaning you want them to have, but they can't help it either. It's like trying to explain complex feelings to someone mentally challenged (no offense), but I'm obviously struggling with the same issue here. And English is not my native language. Anyway, I recognised it immediately, it's the story of my life. |
