I like good music, bad music gets me sad and angry, I do music, in many ways and I hae a huge collection and I´m so happy that even if my parents are totally wrong in everything, at least they always had a good taste of music...;D

| I think the song was written directley after a big dissapointment or bad thing a close person did and that it was only published after a long time and without names and with overthinking and this just because its a strong and touching song, a good sound and heavy text sometimes people need to listen to after such a bad dissapointment of a friend or someone else you really trusted. Or its about a really bad person who did something terrible but in this case I think it hapened to anotherone, the writer really loves and hates what the "bad one" did to him/her. | |

I think the song is about a relationship wich is complicated and seems hopeless since the beginning. Skinny is may a metapher for the fact that it´s nearly over or just began and this with bad "omen" but its an appell to the person the love and the life at least stay for a year cause its written in deep and real love and the thought that 1 year is better than nothing and may the hope that everything can be change to be good in this year. Only more time is the wish. Or it´s about a love, one person is ver ill and could die in the next year... |

| The most importantent sentences to understand this song are the ".....they seem "IF YOUR A STRANGER"...or "...WHEN YOUR ALONE" sure Morrison took drugs but I dont think this song is specially about beeing high, it´s about his personality that he (sometimes) doesn´t know who he is, feels like a stranger to himselfe, is shy or doesn´t know how to act in a situation...For example "women seem wicked" he´s afraid of being with women if he feels like this. He sings it´s like this when he´s alone so he needs someone who gives him the feeling of being save and gives him selfconvidence, he things his personality is the way other say it is like. But the whole thing really sounds like a personality disorder like "Borderline" where you dont know who you are, how to be, which personality yo chould "be" act in this case. And the most people having Borderline start to take drugs sooner or later. They hate to be alone and get paranoid sometimes, think all world is against them and they can get paranoid ("faces come out of the rain"). "Women seem wicken when your unwanted" shows that there is no SELF- confidence and this is a feeling of dangour, panic, sadness, crazyness. But you also hear that he defenetly knows that it´s in his brain cause the people just "SEEM" strange but he (when you´r, he means his behaviour or this feeling may other know too) he sings "If you (ARE) a stranger) so he knows its his paranoia but it doesnt change the disorder... | |

| I always thought the song "Julia" was written by John Lennon for his mother Julia. This is true but also for his wife Yoko Ono ( Yoko Ono means: "ocean child" or child of the ocean). He called the song Julia but sings " so I sing a song of love for Julia" Its about the two women he ever loved so the song of love and I think it´s "for Julia" for his mother, like a letter writing her about how much he loves her and his woman "ocean child-Yoko Ono" who calls him-he wants to be with forever and that. So it´s a lovesong for both, and about the way Yoko is to him... But that this lovesong is also for Julia, his mother. Brown could be a lot but most dirt cause of that the "GOLDEN" brown. But sure he also sings about it´s not a permanent mood, metaphoric he sings about her as his loer who is normally far away and sometimes comes for visits on her ship (means he can find protection and "luck for a little time" in her place-her ship) and that he knows her ( the heroine since years they are friends, "stays for a day" like a relationsh. since long time with the rule of meeting only one day ( heroine works till you fall assleep and wake up if you are addicted) - its such a different and bad feeling that he sings ( ..."fom far away") but it seems for me like he doesnt want to give up taking heroine, he sings about it as a person he can go/escape to whenever he wants and that he likes or at least its okay for him-never a frown- its clear as long as he takes it hes happy or whenever he is sad or angry he has "her,it, his goldenbrown". For me it sometimes sounds like a lovesong for this feeling, for heroine, and if you listen to the melody, you´ll notice thats a waltz and this is very rar... This song by The Velvet Underground but sung by Edie Sedwick (muse of Andy Warhol died in young years) and not by Nico, is a personal feeling of Edie. The mainmassege is the possibility to do suicide and the thinking about it would be so easy only to stop...theoretic. She sings about a life full of glamour and Partys but that in reality in her real feelings or just when the drugs stop to work all is depressing again (drugs cause Edie was addict by many drugs....she was a Politox) -so the "people look well in the dark" means when they dont show how they really feel... And she also sings about a broken heart cause she felt in love some times and get dissapointed each time (I know...-she doesnt she hopes-hello, youre my very special one) a little hope you can hear, that he waits for her "prince" but that she may "closes the door forever"- kill herselfe if she doesn´t find back to happyness ( I wish this could happen to me). And she sing about drinking alcoholic (wine, a toast) 2 times and that is not only shes a drinker cause she doen´t has the feeling to say a toast or drink a glass for something good and special, not for her. She sings like a little child and its a happy melody for such a theme maybe it´s for just the way she was or for the way people saw her as only a little naive child, talking shit, dont has to take serious and not attented. |

Maybe he is in a difficult relationship with a mermaid, a dolphin or just a woman who is fishes in horoscope... No, I have 3 thoughts: 1. A loved person of him died (cause of that under the water) and he knows he will never find someone to love like her (everybody gets chance) and he knows he first has to die (crazy not to follow) but something makes him stay and he has to live a life full of pain and thoughts of her and the thought of dieing every day a little (eaten by worms and weir fishes). Or 2. Its about an addiction and the fight of getting cean, to find people who love you, want to help you or are addicted too some get clean, go away, find some who can help them but he not. He´s in an relation. with his addiction and a person or the fantasy of beeing saved and by someone some day and go away from this. Get a happy end...But he has to feel the pain of dieng alife. 3. He is in love with someone he has no chnace to be loved by ever (again) and that kills him (he doesnt talk about his feelings and takes the pain of "being eaten alive") 4. Hes phobic to water eyes fishes and is totally weird |
