| I'm not sure why you're trying to breathe things into it. I think all the words are to be taken literally. Especially the part about where the forest meets the bridge... That is literally describing the geography of San Francisco. Lands End and The Presidio are both large areas of forest that meet you when you arrive on the Golden Gate Bridge. lol where the forest meets the bridge..pretty obvious | |

This song spurs great feelings within me. It really may sound a bit comical, but I knew the first time I heard the song that it had some meaning. The whole song reveals the feelings and the attitude of a drunk at a bar firsthand. Every lyric describes his twisted views on everything he sees. (Including his views on the other patrons and individuals) Overall, he portrays blame throughout the song. Great song-one of my favorites. |
