| I think this song is about falling in love with someone and having this thought that maybe, just maybe they feel the same way. It's about trying to give up the thought of that person and move on. But at the same time, you wish that they will show you something; something that proves to you that they indeed feel the same way. This song represents how we all have a thought in our heads that maybe the person we love loves us back. And when we try to move on, we're scared because maybe they do feel the same way, and us giving up will jeopardize that. So while we want to move on, at the same time you just... don't want to. | |

| To me this song is about someone, or something that haunts you. It could be about a relationship that ended and the thought of them still hurts you. You say you're at peace, but it all feels wrong. I listen to this when I feel empty because I think of my ex sometimes. The part that I really relate to is "A thousand silhouettes dancing on my chest, no matter where I sleep, you are haunting me". This part is just so beautiful and sad. It's about the fact that no matter where you are, the thought of someone can haunt you. And I love when she sings repeatably "Wherever there is you, I will be there too". You can be in complete darkness and still think of them. This is literally my favorite song, it reminds me that it's hard to be human; how remembering someone you loved dearly could haunt you and leave you empty. | |

I feel like this person is saying sorrhen you know I can't love"). I honestly love this song because I relate to it so much. I have BPD and this song seems to be how I see things. Whenever I truly love someone I push them away because I'm scared they might hurt me. And this person is explaining how they truly do love them, but how they feel bad for hurting them ("And those bright blue eyes; can only meet mine across the room, filled with people that are less important than you"). "So I think it's best we both forget before we dwell on it The way you held me so tight All through the night 'Til it was near morning" This is a beautiful part of the song because the person misses how their loved one did this with them and they regret pushing them away. |

I feel like this song is about someone who is scared to love/ trust. And the other singer is reassuring them, telling them that they will guide them. It's about someone who has fears to go out in the world because they had their heart broken. "I'm looking for a place to start. And everything feels so different now." This refers to how much sadder this person feels and how they are hesitant to put them self out there. "Somewhere deep in the dark A howling beast hears us talk." This is referring to that person's fear and how they're scared to over come it. |
