One thing a lot of people miss is that this song was originally written about "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre". Aside from Claudio's blatant obsession for the movie and allusions to this song being connected in a KillAudio interview - here's some key lines. "Blood hungry cannibalistic unfit family ties; a series of knocks to the young girls head side" this is literally the infamous dinner scene from the movie. "Look at what your brother did..." To the door. In the film, the eldest brother of the family says these very lines in response to their front door being destroyed by a chainsaw. "Would you run down past the fence?" The climax of the song is also the climax of the movie; the heroine runs away from the house down past the fence and into a getaway truck. She does scream too, just not the name "Claudio". |
